Ina and the Alchemists on Sacred Self Love

To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.

– Oscar Wilde

I have the pleasure and honor of working with some of the most amazing light workers on the planet. One of them is Ina Lukas, a channel who brings in a group of non-physical beings called The Alchemists.

For the skeptics tempted to click back over to your Facebook feed, I invite you to suspend disbelief for a bit and read on. To paraphrase the Alchemists, channeling is not a freak show. The real freak show is how we humans try to stifle all of our magnificence.

I have personally found great wisdom in the messages coming through several different channels (Abraham-Hicks, Bashar, and Adronis among others), but Ina and the Alchemists have reached me on a cellular level.

Ina was not always a conduit for interdimensional communication. A landscape designer for two decades, she began getting messages that felt like “wild horses at the gate.” Through a gradual unfolding, she eventually came out of the “spiritual closet” and embraced being a channel and has helped hundreds of people experience breakthroughs in all areas of their lives. You can read more about her journey here.

Today we are launching her new website and she is launching a year-long program called Sacred Self Love: Illuminating and Honoring the Divinity Within.

I have often felt that so many problems in the world would evaporate if more people loved themselves. I have been interested in what self-love looks like on a practical level, and why so many people have to work at it, or simply go through life not experiencing it at all. I asked Ina these and other questions to share with you here.

My questions are in bold and Ina’s answers are below them.

Enjoy all of the gems in this interview! (And maybe have a tissue ready…)

What inspired you to create the Sacred Self Love Program?

Self love is at the core of everything. And it’s what most people have the hardest time doing – loving themselves unconditionally, seeing themselves as the beautiful beings they are. At the core of most people’s life blocks is a deeper subconscious (or conscious) belief that they are not lovable, not worthy, not enough, a bad person, etc. It’s this belief that goes out into every area of our lives… our money, relationships, health, work, body, etc. When we don’t see ourselves as lovable, we put up all kinds of invisible walls of protection that keep us “safe” and keep us from actually letting in the things we want most in life.

If you want to really create change in your life, it has to come from the inside out. And it has to start with beginning to see how powerful you are, how lovable you are, how worthy you are.

I was inspired to create this program because I work with hundreds of people and at the core of every session, almost always there is a deeper belief that they are not lovable, not worthy, not enough, etc. It all boils done to love.

I spent at least a couple decades really hating myself. Fighting my body, fighting who I was. The journey to self love has been my biggest life journey. And I’m still on it, but the pay offs for coming home to who you are and loving and accepting yourself are HUGE. It’s directly related to your money flow, your weight, being able to receive, your relationships…. just everything.

So the inspiration behind creating this program came from asking myself, “What do I want to feel by the end of 2017?” My immediate response was that I wanted to feel unconditional love for myself. I wanted to love myself completely with no gaps between what I want to create and how I feel about where I am.

Then, of course, I wanted to bring a powerful group of people along with me on this journey, creating the space for a yearlong deep dive into honoring and illuminating the divinity within ourselves. I want to deeply explore all aspects of self love…. self love and money, self love and our bodies, self love and our health, self love and our work, self love and our relationships, etc. All from the place of a powerfully focused group of co-creators.

How is this program different from all the other programs you have created?

All of my programs are very deep and very focused on specific topics. But this program is different because for one thing, it’s a much longer journey. But this topic of self love is SO big and so woven into all aspects of our lives, that we deserve a year to fully dive in to this relationship with ourselves.

The difference in this program is that it’s very focused on community and commitment to yourself. Committing to love yourself and see yourself, while having the support of a tribe of like-minded people going on that deep dive journey along with you. So there is a support system of accountability and inspiration. Each month we will have a different self love habit to take on that is uniquely designed for our individual needs. There is a Sacred Self Love Temple on Facebook, our private group where everyone can connect, share, and dive deeper into conversations and celebrations between the calls. For the first time I have an extraordinary Self Love Temple Host who will be making sure everyone’s needs get met, creating a very safe, nurturing, nourishing, sacred space for our community to dive deep.

This will also give people access to the Alchemists for the whole year. Every month there will be Q&A calls with the Alchemists, plus a Self Love Activation. So you are constantly in the energy, always able to ask your questions and get the Divine Guidance you need. The Alchemists will be giving us exercises and recorded meditations to support us throughout the year.

Why do you think so many people are walking around not loving themselves?

Childhood experiences that formed them. Small or big events, small or big words that pierced through their innocence that made them feel unlovable, alone, abandoned, not ok for being who they are, etc. And most people don’t even know they’re playing out their lives from the frequency of childhood wounds and beliefs about themselves. But these childhood beliefs about ourselves shaped who we are. And as you start becoming aware of them and are able to embrace that innocence, that little one within you, the deeper journey of self love and healing begins.

The Alchemists said it well here….

At the core of what’s going on is that as a child, what you did is be you. You were being you; you were being playful, you were out there running, you were out there jumping, you were out there screaming. And then someone said, “Be quiet!”, someone said, “Stop that! Stop having fun, stop being playful. What do you think you’re doing?”, and immediately that hand slap of emotion – and for some of you, much worse than that – gave you the immediate impression that you being you, you being lined up with who you are, you being you in your exuberance and alignment with life, are wrong, are bad, are not worthy. And it’s just not true. It’s just not true, it’s just not true, it’s just not true.

How has your life been transformed since you began channeling the Alchemists?

Wow. Ummmm, in almost every way. Their teachings have affected every area of my life, most especially through their continual teachings of going INTO the emotion and not trying to avoid it by immediately finding ways to feel better and pivot out of it. Diving into the darkest places is where you find true gold and true alchemy and true freedom. And fear falls away as it no longer has any power over you.

But one of the biggest changes for me happened when I owned and embraced this gift. When I fully stepped into this role, knowing that I wasn’t seeking it out, they came to me, and if that was the case, I needed to have the deepest reverence for this gift and not play small with it. So as soon as I began stepping out of my spiritual closet and embraced being a professional channel, my finances started flourishing because I was valuing myself and my work. The lifestyle freedom I always wanted has just organically started taking shape. And every day I have the honor of being so deeply present with people’s souls, that I get brought to tears with how beautiful their magnificence is. So it’s really allowed me to fall in love with our humanity and this human journey that we are on in such a big way.

How do you personally experience self-love? (What does self-love look like on an average day in Ina’s life?)

Great question. A lot of it is what it doesn’t look like. It doesn’t look like the constant mind chatter of what’s wrong with me and self judgement that ran in my mind for years. There’s so much less self criticism in my life, and a lot more being gentle with myself and letting myself off the hook for things I used to beat myself up about.

All of this is a work in progress for me, but in general it looks like healthy boundaries, not overcommitting, clearer communication with people, sustainably managing my time, spending time with my sweetie and allowing myself to receive fully from him, eating foods that I love, having a morning routine, working out, wearing clothes I feel good in, lots of great music and car dancing, having sacred rituals in my life, surrounding myself with great energy and great friends, getting lots of sleep, drinking lots of water, walking on the beach, doing things I love everyday, and more.

Have you or someone you know experienced a timeline shift from a breakthrough in self-love? If so, what was that like?

Hmmmmm…. well, timeline shifts are definitely part of being in an awakening reality, and from my experience, happen more as you are in a period of awakening. And the core of awakening is really just experiencing more and more of the truth of who you are, the magnificence of who you are. Which is all part of the unfolding of experiencing unconditional love for yourself.

So, that being said, as you open up to loving yourself more and experiencing more of the broader part of who are you are, reality starts to change around you. And there is no time, there is just now. But since our human mind experiences time in a linear fashion, when you start stepping out of the matrix of your limitation, time starts to bend and stretch and go backwards and warp in wild and wonderful ways. And yes, I have had the experience of time literally going backwards. Sitting at my desk looking at the clock. Getting up making tea, doing a couple things. Then returning to my desk 15 minutes earlier. That stuff used to freak me out a bit more, but now it’s just kind of fun.

How do you keep your connection with the Alchemists clear? Do you practice any particular diet or regimen to stay attuned to them?

I can really access them at any time without the need for a particular diet or regimen. (Although, I personally feel better in my head when I eat cleaner). However, I do have a very specific practice of anchoring myself and creating a clear connection with them where I allow myself to get out of the way to be in greatest service to whoever I’m channeling for. That happens in a matter of a couple minutes whenever I am bringing them in.

Do the Alchemists ever come in unexpectedly or do they wait for you to call them in?

They pop in and say things to me when I need to hear them. Or if I’m talking to someone and there is a specific message that wants to come through for them, they’ll give me a “download” with the transmission of the message, but not necessarily a direct audio transmission of them talking through me (if I’m in the middle of conversation with someone).

What is one thing someone could do right now to show/experience self love?

A simple, but powerful exercise is to rub your hands together to generate some heat and activate your meridians, then put your hands over your heart, skin on skin. Close your eyes and breathe deeply into your heart. Several deep breaths as you drop out of your head and into your heart center. Then just bring up the picture of your little one, your inner child, your innocence. Visualize yourself at 2, 4, 5 years old… whatever age comes up for you. And just look into their eyes, the eyes of your innocence. And just say, “I love you. You are so beautiful, so precious, so brilliant, so powerful, so strong. You haven’t done anything wrong. You’ve always done the best that you could. I’m so proud of you and who you are. I’m right here with you. You are safe. Everything is going to be ok.” Or whatever words you want to tell yourself at that beautiful, innocent age that your little one needs to hear. Breathe there. “I love you, thank you, I love you, thank you, I love you, thank you, I love you, thank you.” And see how that feels. 🙂

Is there anything else you would like people to know about you, your work, the Alchemists or self love?

We are going through a massive collective shift on this planet, an awakening of consciousness. And it can be a very bumpy ride. So many people feel like they are going crazy, or going through periods of being in the chrysalis, about to emerge a butterfly, but it can be hard to see when you are in it.

What I want to say is that you are not crazy. You are waking up to who you are. And you are not alone, nor do you need to be. More than anything we need to be coming together with our tribes right now. Connecting with others who are also waking up, supporting each other, grounding each other and loving each other through this process.

With the new presidency coming in, we need to come together in the light more than ever. But we also need to acknowledge, own, love and transform the shadows in us, the Trump in each of us (our racism, bigotry, “us and them” energy, blaming on others, the divisive walls that we build within ourselves). This is some of the most important work we can be doing right now, diving into ourselves and letting go of what no longer serves us or this planet. Trump is bringing that forth in all of us. So this is the time to be with our fear, no longer letting it have power over us, but truly setting ourselves free from disempowerment and aloneness. It’s our time to own our gifts, bring them into the world, and support each other in that process. And if you’re feeling inspired and nudged by what I’ve shared here, I hope you’ll join us on this journey!
